My Dad was diagnosed with invasive bladder cancer in 2012, which rocked my world. It's hard seeing the hero in your life being dealt such a blow, as any of you who have gone through it will know. The journey down the road of chemotherapy, operations and treatment is now underway and Macmillan have been a reassuring source of help and support, so on 26th May 2013 I will be running for Team Macmillan and competing in the UKs fastest Half Marathon in Edinburgh, Scotland during the month of my Dads 70th birthday.
