BUPA Great North Run 2008 · 5 October 2008 ·

First Touch supports sick and premature babies cared for at St George’s neonatal unit in SW London. We fund state-of-the-art equipment and specialist staff training which are outside of the scope of NHS budgets, as well as a range of initiatives to support families during their stay on the unit.

Story

Last year I ran the Great North Run to raise money for the Neonatal Unit at St George's as my son Samuel was born two and a half months early and recieved 24 hour care from the staff there.  He was there for over 6 weeks and due to their help he is now a happy healthy 16 month old.

I am running the 13.1 miles from Newcastle to South Shields again on Sunday 5th October and I would like you to sponsor me.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Friends Of The Neonatal Unit At St. Georges will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
