In September 2008 I'll be taking on one of the most physical and mentally challenging sporting events of my life, cycling 933km across the French Pyrenees.

I was asked by Lawrence Dallaglio to be part of this team after skiing with him in Verbier last winter.  I think the big man will be a great motivator for us all.  I'm honoured to be part of this and raise money for the Bliss charity.

Other members of the team are ex-England rugby player Damian Hopley, Wasps player Simon Hunter and committed waiters, chefs and managers from the Gondola Group of restaurants – PizzaExpress, ASK and Zizzi.

We will be cycling from Biarritz to Banyuls, near Perpignan in just 8 days, climbing to almost 20,000m.

Please donate what you can to support myself and the team, and to raise money for BLISS.  Many thanks,

Warren Smith
