Story

15 days, 1,000 miles

This summer, from  21st July to 4th August, Brendan, Steve, Chris and myself (Joe) are cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats! We're hoping to cycle the 'length of the UK' trip in 15 days staying in youth hostels along the way.

We're cycling in support of Cancer Research UK, raising some money to help the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research.

Cancer continues to affect the lives of many people and research is critical to improve and develop new treatments.

We're dedicating our fundraising efforts to offer support to our friend Katie Smith whose father was recently diagnosed with cancer and for budding cyclist Chris Bloor whose mother was also affected this year.

We know that some of our friends have already donated to Cancer Research UK in sponsoring Katie for a 5km run in Cambridge, please don't feel obliged to sponsor us as well.

Please note that any donation you make goes directly to Cancer Research UK, we're not using any money raised to help fund our trip.

Thanks for visiting our page,

Joe
