Though we've reached our original sponsorship target it is by no means too late to donate to the Isabel Hospice!  The hospice is a charity which provides care for patients living with cancer and many other life-limiting illnesses. I was recently speaking to a member of our club who told me of the support and compassion that the hospice offered to her and her family throughout her father`s illness. As well as providing expert care to such patients the hospice continues to help and support the families of victims into the bereavement period. These services cost Isabel Hospice over £3 million a year to provide. Just over £1 million is covered by the charity's current NHS contracts. The remaining £2 million needs to be raised by people like us, and with the help of your generous donations.
