WaterAid Rutland is taking part in the national Taste for Life Campaign.  We are raising money for our sponsored projects in Mali in West Africa. We are helping people get clean water, safe sanitation and basic hygiene education in their own villages deep in the countryside. These include the villages that Anne visited last year.

Money goes a long way with WaterAid in Africa - every £15 is enough to give someone clean water for life  - so please be generous - think if YOU had no clean water - or no toilet in the house (or street, or village) !

The average availability in sub-Saharan Africa is 10 litres of water a day - we regularly use 200 each a day.....over 10 litres is used in just flushing the toilet.

We hope that you are able to take part in a Taste for Life event, whether as a guest, or host - or maybe both! And if so, we hope you enjoy it.  If you are unable to attend on but would like to donate nevertheless, we would of course be very grateful.
