Hello, and thank you for taking the time to visit our fundraising page.
For the second year running, a few of the Watford FC staff, are hoping to raise as much money as we can for the Peace Hospice!
Just like last year, the following ladies; Katie Bowden, Sasha Burnham, Martine Capitelli, Jackie Sheppard and Gill Winfield and Jane Bowden, will by completing a 13mile walk, which takes place on Saturday 13th June 09 at midnight!
Also, the following Gents from Watford FC have very kindly volunteered their services as 'Walking Marshalls' these being; Chris Andrews, Rob Clarke, Jim Cooke, Dave Eames and last but not least.....Nick Cox.
Last year we managed to raise £2000, This is an example of what your money can do for the Peace Hospice:-
Your sponsorship money could provide the following:-
£5 will buy a month’s worth of aromatherapy oils for massage care for patients who visit our weekly therapeutic days
£10 will buy an hour of specialist nursing care for patients in our inpatient unit
£25 will buy a day’s worth of oxygen for a patient with breathing difficulties cared for in our inpatient unit
£50 will buy a course of counselling for a bereaved relative from our bereavement counselling team
£100 will buy a special course of treatment to relieve a patient suffering the painful condition of lymphoedema in which their arms and legs become swollen
