DELTA Bike Ride 2008 · 22 June 2008 ·

DELTA believes that the vast majority of deaf children can learn to listen and talk and that all parents of deaf children should be given this option. It's aim is to promote the education of hearing impaired children through their residual hearing capacity and naturally spoken language.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

In order to raise funds for DELTA (Deaf Education through Listening and Talking) we will be cycling the mean 48 miles (!!!) from Reigate to Brighton on Sunday 22nd June 2008.  We would be really grateful for any sponsorship or support you can offer, or perhaps just an ice-cream at the seaside when we eventually get there!

Our team consists of eight Watson Wyatt "new grads", Nikki Thomas, Kevin Jeffrey, James Sharpe, Iain Douglas, David Lennox, Bradley Hough, Aidan Helmbold, Chris Marchmont, who have about 5 1/2 miles cycling experience between us, wish us luck!!!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: DELTA (Deaf Education through Listening and Talking) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
