We did it and Joe's written a poem about the experience: Ben Nevis is Ludicrously long Super steep Helplessly hard Terribly tiring It is rocky like a rough, raging Rhino And is GINORMOUS like a giraffe. It is also taller than a tyrannosaurus rex. BUT It is incredibly exciting Fabulous fun Amazingly awesome It also has a breathtaking view But the best thing about climbing Ben Nevis Is when you get to the bottom!!! Many thanks for your support. Joe skipped up and down, Zak did extra scrambles to keep himself amused, Gemma conquered all her fears and got down first, Tom came last using the walking stick and Jan is still stiff 2 weeks on! We and the orphanage in Zimbabwe really appreciate your support.
