My story

Pain, lots of pain.... ;)

Video now online! Watch the pain!

This is a chance to give a little bit more money for the Muscular Dystrophy and cause Dario a large amount of pain in the process - what more could you want?

For charity Dario is going to get his back waxed - for those that do not know, Dario is part Werewolf (on his father's side), and therefore very, very furry.

This is mainly aimed at all those people that wanted to sponsor Dario for hisSaharatrek last year but couldn't at the time. So here's another wonderful fundraising page to help you dust off those old coins ;)

Also a great opportunity for anyone who's did sponsor me before but just can't help their generosity and wants to pass on a little bit of cash to a good cause.

There will of course be both photo and video of the event which will take place very soon, so go on - cause a little pain for a good cause, you know you want to ;)

Why the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign?

As some of you may know my cousin died of Muscular Dystrophy, a crippling genetic disease that stops children from enjoying even the most basic things such as running around and playing with other children. The things that make childhood. A lot of them never even survive to see childhood, dying in infancy.
No one thought she would survive as long as she did, but she was a strong girl, and fought all her life. She survived until she was twenty-five, being in a wheel chair since she was a child, and at the end only being kept alive by ventilators.

This charity's sole purpose is to help people like her and find ways to treat this disease.

This site is great, and recommended by the campaign. It's quick, easy and secure to donate and it's also the most efficient way to sponsor me the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign will receive your money faster and, if as a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
