'What Does It Take' safety DVD · 18 April 2013

Every working day in the UK two construction workers take their own life. We are the only charity providing emotional, physical and financial support to the construction community through our 24/7 Helpline.

Story

My name is Sandra Cusick and I'm a Delivery Support Manager with Amey. Part of my function has been to facilitate the production of a behavioural based training programme for Amey and a number of its supply chain partners.

Our aim is to make the Highway Maintenance Industry a safer place to work. The DVD 'Changing Behaviour - What Does It Take?' is a resource produced to help influence attitudes and behaviour, and in doing so create a safer working environment.

The commissioning partners have decided to make copies of the DVD freely available to other companies and organisations. In lieu of charging for these, we feel this is an opportunity to support a very worthwhile cause by asking people to make a donation to The Lighthouse Club Benevolent Fund, a charity which supports people who have worked in our industry.

On behalf of the commissioning partners - Thank You.
