We're a couple of knits · 7 June 2014

Jimmy’s is a community-based charity with the belief that no-one should have to sleep rough in Cambridge. We provide safe places that people can call home. From emergency accommodation at our East Road shelter, longer term care at our multiple needs centre and in supported houses and modular homes.

Story

Deb, Jane, Fiona, Barbara & Sara are knitting and crocheting Tour de France jerseys to raise funds for Jimmy's Cambridge - the centre for the homeless community. We aim to create 50 mini jerseys for the CamBuntingTdF initiative to decorate the city to welcome the riders in the Tour de France. Miles of bunting - created from mini jerseys - will adorn the streets! Please support us - our needles are already clacking away.
