Like the strong and fearless Spartans of ancient Greece, Team Akita (We are Spartans) will be going into battle in the name of charity.

Tough Mudder is not your average lame-ass mud run or spirit-crushing ‘endurance’ road race. Their 10-12 mile obstacle courses are designed by Special Forces to test all around strength, stamina, mental grit and camaraderie. Forget finish times. Simply completing a Tough Mudder is a badge of honour.

Unfortunately for the guys from Akita Systems, Tough Mudder is double the length of other mud runs and they guarantee there will be no queues at obstacles. On average, only 78% of participants finish the events!

Team Akita will be participating in the May 12/13th 2012 event which is held in Kettering, Northants.

Any adrenaline junkies interested in becoming Spartans are most welcome to join the team!
