A Worldwide Wristband and Selfie challenge... · 28 August 2015

Campaign by Young Lives vs Cancer (RCN 1107328 and SC039857)
The VCMF is a fund I set up in memory of my dear mum who left a huge hole in all our lives on December 8th 2008 when she lost her short battle with cancer aged just 50. This page is to keep her memory alive whilst supporting others.

Hello!

And thanks for taking the time to visit our latest fundraising page as we continue the massive task of trying to raise a quarter of a million pounds for CLIC Sargent Children with Cancer via our team fundraising page at www.justgiving.com/teams/target250k.

Our latest little charity mission is slightly different to the rest, no walking, training, cycling or running is needed! All we ask for this one is you take one of our special wristbands away with you and get some great pictures with them whenever you go somewhere you feel warrants a selfie or a picture with the wristband.

Whether it be the Eiffel Tower, the Golden Gate Bridge or some terrible League 2 football ground it matters not. Just a bit of fun for people to get involved with alongside their friends and family. Snap your picture and email it over to claxtonluke@yahoo.com or veronicaclaxtonmemorialfund@gmail.com or send to me on Facebook or Instagram and we will create a little album of everybody's pictures on there. All I ask is every time you fancy getting involved and visit somewhere new you want a picture is that you donate a couple of quid right here on the page (LITERALLY £2!!) and let us know where you've been.

The aim over the next few years is to take these wristbands as far and wide as we can, send them to your family abroad, tie them to a tree in the middle of the Pacific, do whatever you like with them!

Let's spread the message far and wide and continue helping those special children and their families living with cancer by donating some loose change and having some fun along the way.

Contact details are above if you want to get involved and would like to request some bands. Have as many as you like I've got hundreds!

Happy travelling :)
