Story
On 8th October, messieurs Webb and Greenwood are to start the daunting challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. It's going to be a tough few days, scaling 5,800 metres to the summit of the highest freestanding mountain in the world, but we will be spurred on by our desire to raise money for an extremely good cause.
Kate’s Trust is a charity set up by our colleague and good friend Simon Hackett in memory of his mum, who sadly died of cancer on 10th November 2003. It raises money for local initiatives and services that support cancer sufferers and their families.
Kate's Trust has recently donated funds to St Catherine's Hospice in Crawley to assist in the establishment of their Community Nursing Service, which supports over 500 patients in their own homes at any one time. And they would now like to support the Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice near Arundel, which is the only children's hospice in the Sussex area and is unable to operate as fully as it wishes due to a lack of funding.
Any sponsorship, no matter how small or large, will be greatly appreciated, helping motivate us right the way to the top and raising money for a very good cause. Our trip is fully paid for so every penny of your sponsorship money will go straight to Kate's Trust.
A big thanks for the support x
