Somerset Park to Hampden Park - Ayr Tartan Army · 11 August 2007

Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

On the 17th November 2007. Members of the Ayr Tartan Army (www.wehaveadream.co.uk) will walk from Somerset Park, Ayr to Hampden Park,Glasgow for the Scotland v Italy Euro Qualifier. Leaving at approx 2am and covering approx 34 miles.

This is to raise money for Alzheimer Scotland and raise awareness of this terrible disease.

Ally MacLeod done so much for Ayr as a town, and Scotland as a country, now its time for us to do our bit.

The man was a legend, so lets remember him by making a donation.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Alzheimer Scotland will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
