Over 40,000 women and 250 men are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK including some of our friends and family. Every 13 minutes a woman receives the devastating news that she has breast cancer. Breast Cancer Care offer support, knowledge and strength to people with breast cancer and their loved ones. They do this through people who know best how to help - those who have had breast cancer themselves. On a less serious level this is also an opportunity for two old folk in mid fifties to prove we can rise to a challenge and do something worthwhile with our recent healthier lifestyle!
