According to recent figures ( London Health Observatory) smoking prevalence in both Worthing and Adur is approx 20% , which is higher than the overall figure for West Sussex.

This year Worthing Councillor Tom Wye has agreed to take part in Stoptober and not smoke during October.  Tom has been smoking since he was a teenager and helped to promote the competition to design a sign to discourage adults from smoking in childrens play areas.  The competition was won by Rebecca Hain a pupil at Eastbrook Primary School.

Help support Tom on his journey through October to Stoptober!
