Mountain rescue team members are on call every day, of every month, of every year. Whatever the time, day or night. Whatever the weather. They do it voluntarily. They do it without question. At no cost to the casualty. And it's thanks to your generosity, they can continue saving lives. So thank you.

Story

This Year's Extreme Expedition!

*** 15 summits over 3000 feet in 24 hours
*** 27+ miles of walking
*** 10,000 feet of ascent

The Welsh 3000s challenge involves getting to the top of all 15 peaks in Wales that are over 3000ft, within a 24 hour period, without using any form of transport except your own feet!  Besides all of the climbing this will entail a walk of over 27 miles.

We have chosen to complete this challenge on behalf of Mountain Rescue to support their frequently unmentioned bravery, which can sometimes involve rescuing muppets like us!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Mountain Rescue England and Wales will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
