Story
With some very sore legs we completed in some truly amazing times as follows:
1:37 Darren Ali; 1:39 Richard Valentine; 1:43 Dominic Olliff; 1:46 Peter Swordy; 1:57 Alistair Spiers; 2:05 Andy Smith; 2:19 Tracy Phipps; 2:26 Tim Radcliffe; 2:26 Jessica West; 2:32 Matthew Strachan; 2:46 Tony Davison; 2:56 John Capper
A huge thank you to all our relatives, friends, colleagues, clients and suppliers. Every donation means a lot to us all and it means all the pain was not in vain.
Big thank you to our suppliers ISC (big, big thanks!), Cleanevent, Wiles Greenworld, Bladerunner, Reed Employment, Sheldrake Green and Blandy & Blandy who have dug deep to help us out.
Many thanks to Stephanie Moore for her messages of support - it means a lot to all of us.
Matthew Strachan raised £1,870 (including a £125 in offline cheques straight to Bobby Moore fund) and Richard Valentine raised £1,655 (on their own fundraising pages). We have also included £500 raised offline by IMG towards their staff runners in the team. This should add up to £4,025!! SO we are now over £10k and we thank you all for the effort - runners and givers!!
The donation site on justgiving.com is open until the end of 2008.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us; Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
The Wembley Team are proud to have the Bobby Moore Statue at the front of the Stadium and we are excited about the race but also about how much we can raise for the fund. We were training (not enough) and fundraising at Sport Relief , Nike+ 10k and also Microsoft Challenge June 2008 at Stirling in Scotland.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.
