Having helped out with this event last year I felt it was time for me to get on my bike (which my daughter kindly bought me for Christmas last year) and take up the challenge of the 45 mile ride from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle. I am a novice and haven't really rode a bike since I was at secondary school.Those of you who know me know just how many years ago that was :) .
