For those of you that don't know me personally, My name is Wendy Beal. I live in Nottinghamshire. In a brief moment of madness, I recently agreed to do a tandem skydive. Not an easy feat by any means, as I don't like heights and I am not too keen on small planes either!! The jump will take place at Langar Airfield in Nottingham and is scheduled for early September. Date to be confirmed as it is weather dependant.

I have ridden from a young age and compete in eventing at the lower levels. I am also a British Eventing volunteer and have just returned from Greenwich after a fantastic and memorable few days as an cross country team official. Well done to team GBR

I have chosen the Mark Davies Injured Riders Fund as it is a charity that is close to my heart. A good friend of mine, that had a serious riding accident was in receipt of help from the fund when she was unable to get out of bed for weeks, with a broken back and pelvis. It not only helps competitive riders, but happy hackers also.

We all hope and pray that it will never happen to us, but you just never know. With you help, I hope to raise a substantial amount of money for this fantastic charity. Please please pass this link onto your friends and family.
