Story
Whilst on a flight from Edinburgh to London, we hit a tiny bit of turbulance and I jumped out my seat, grabbed the stewardess and screamed at her that I WAS HAVING THE PARACHUTE. 12 months ago, when I won the fundraiser of the year award, Fred MacAulay challenged me jump out of a very scary plane, and he said that if I did, he would help me raise some money for River Kids. So here I am, been cleared by the doctor, thought he wouldn't let me do this , and i am now ready to do a parachute jump and terrified at the thought of jumping out of a plane especially because the plane does not have doors or seats, as one of the tandam parachute jumpers once said to me ' you're not staying in there so you don't need a seat'.
The date I have chosen is my 29th Wedding Anniversary, hubby says he wants to do it too, hopefully we will live to tell the tale, although what we do for our 30th Anniversary is begining to worry me.
So please, please help me reach my massive target, dig deep and donate now, every penny will help and if you are a UK tax payer, please tick the gift aid box and give us that extra 25%, which will help us reach our target quicker.
