Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

You never know what is around the corner in the great journey of life. After a rather shock diagnosis in March '07, I was successfully treated at the Royal Marsden in Sutton and at Fulham. The care I received was second to none and I am full of admiration for the wonderful staff and excellent rescources at these hospitals.

My experience was indeed humbling and has given me a renewed appreciation and zest for life. I was one of the lucky ones and sadly, have seen others not so lucky who have not made it through.

I would therefore like to say a big "thank you" to the Marsden and raise some much-needed cash to contribute towards their cancer research and to enable them to continue to care for other people who are battling this horrible disease.

With the run behind me, my next challenge is a nine day cycling trek around the hills in Cuba next March. This looks to be pretty gruelling and I will be camping most nights, using "primitive" washing facilities and am pretty sure the tents have no mini-bars or hairdryers(!!)
