West Coast Challenge · 30 June 2007

COPS is a UK charity dedicated to helping the families of police officers and police staff who have lost their lives on duty to rebuild their lives. We aim to ensure that surviving family members have the help they need to cope with such tragedy and they remain part of the police family.

Story

On the 13th September 2007 a team of UK Cops will cycle just under 700 miles from San Francisco to San Diego. Each day we will cover between 70-90 miles a day down the rather hilly Californian Coast, and will be meeting US Colleagues on the way down who will be joining us en route.

The Challenge has been made possible by our friends at the Daily Mail who will be supporting us throughout the challenge, because of this every penny you donate will go to the two charities we are supporting.

The Prince's Trust helps young people who often need nothing more than a little support and belief to give them a second chance and help them realise their goals. Anyone who is any doubt as to the depth of work the Trust routinely undertakes should just look at their website

Anyone who has had the misfortune to lose a friend or colleague will be aware of the fantastic work that COPS undertakes. Long after we have resumed our day to day lives they continue to support the colleague’s dependents.

Read about us on the Daily Mail website feel free to leave messages of support.
