Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

In August 2008, we are attempting to Climb two Mountains in 12 days, Mount Meru located in Tanzania and Mount Kilimanjaro which is the largest mountain on the African continent, and the highest 'free standing' mountain in the world. If that wasn't enough we will be climbing the hardest route possible, the notorious Western Breach.

The inspiration for this challange has come from 7 year old Jamie Parkinson who suffers from DMD. A local newspaper Hull Daily Mail recently appealed for help on Jamies behalf to raise as much money as possible for the charity as a cure for DMD could be possible if enough funding is raised.

Money raised as part of our challenge will go towards continuing the efforts of the charity to find a cure.Every penny counts with this charity, all donations made will be much appreciated.

There are 4 of us taking the challenge, Andy Parkinson, James Ennals, Richard Nicholson and Sam Ennals and we thank everybody who have supported the charity on our behalf.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Parent Project UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please donate now!!
Many thanks for your support.
