The West Highland Way Walk · 9 September 2012

Since 1993, we have impacted the lives of over 250,000 people living in hard-to-reach communities in rural Nepal. We have built or renovated nearly 200 earthquake resilient schools, creating safe and inclusive learning environments. Our other projects include community health and sanitation projects.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Myself and Simon will be Hiking the West Highland Way in association with THe Pahar Trust Nepal. Our company has commited to raise the project cost of 15k to build a new school for the children of Mayum, near Lingkhim in mountainous East Nepal. They have nothing more than a shack at present. Our Company the head of steam has already raised a significant part of the cost and are now focussing on completing the total in 2012. We thought it would be a great idea to mix in a weeks hiking with fundraising for the project. Any of you who know me know that 96 miles will be a hell of a challenge as Im not known for my fitness levels, but i know the area well and know what to expect. Simon on the other hand will probably end up pulling me along with a rope. anyway please give as much as you can afford, honestly, everything helps towards the total. Please give generously to make the hike worthwhile.
