West Highland Way · 28 June 2018

We support young people and adults with mental health issues in Manchester. We're an independent, self-financed charity offering services to those most in need. We promote positive attitudes to mental health to challenge stigma, increase awareness and work for better mental health for all.

Story

On the 28th June 2018, a group of lads from Burnley and our American friend Sean Everskemper will be heading to Glasgow to complete the West Highland Way, a 100 mile trek from Glasgow to Fort William in only 4 days.

The terrain won't be easy, it will be a test of grit and determination and to complete it over 4 days will be a test for all of us as it averages out at 25 miles a day whilst carrying all of our equipment.

We're strong believers that everyone should be given a voice, everyone should have someone to talk to in their moment of need. MIND offers that opportunity to people, they support vulnerable people suffering with mental health problems on a daily basis and do a fantastic job and this trek will be done to show our support for everything they're doing at Manchester Mind
