He has lived at Fountainview for 25 years and has a twin brother called David. Sadly&nbsp; Westley and David&rsquo;s mother passed away recently. Neither Westley or David knew who their father was and hadn&rsquo;t met him. Westley&rsquo;s twin brother David decided this year to try and find their father after their mother had passed away and managed to track him down in Texas, USA. </span></span></p> <p> <p class="BasicParagraph" style="margin-bottom: 5.65pt; margin-left: 0in; margin-right: 0in; mso-margin-top-alt: 2.85pt;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 120%; font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">Westley&rsquo;s Dad, Westley Moorehead made his career in the Navy. He enlisted in 1945, during the Second World War, at the age of 17. Westley&nbsp;was stationed at the Holy Loch, Scotland, and worked out of Edinburgh when he met Thomasina Gray, Westley&rsquo;s Mum. They were very much in love when Westley was relocated to board a ship for the Cuban Crisis. He was then transferred to respond to the War in Vietnam.</span></span></p> <p class="BasicParagraph" style="margin-bottom: 5.65pt; margin-left: 0in; margin-right: 0in; mso-margin-top-alt: 2.85pt;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 120%; font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">When he left, Thomasina discovered she was pregnant with twins.Thomasina and Westley lost touch. </span></span></p> <p class="BasicParagraph" style="margin-bottom: 5.65pt; margin-left: 0in; margin-right: 0in; mso-margin-top-alt: 2.85pt;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 120%; font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">Westley Senior now lives in Texas with his wife and four step children. Westley and David are the only children of Westley Snr. Through making contact with his father, Westley has learned that he has family he never knew about - three step sisters and one step brother.</span></span></p> <p class="BasicParagraph" style="margin-bottom: 5.65pt; margin-left: 0in; margin-right: 0in; mso-margin-top-alt: 2.85pt;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 120%; font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">David has managed to visit his father in Texas and given him photos and contact details for Westley here at Quarriers. Westley&rsquo;s father has emailed Westley, telling him about himself, his life and family in Texas.</span></span></p> <p class="BasicParagraph" style="margin-bottom: 5.65pt; margin-left: 0in; margin-right: 0in; mso-margin-top-alt: 2.85pt;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 120%; font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">Westley&rsquo;s father and his wife are getting older and his wife suffers from mild dementia, Westley&rsquo;s father has now become her carer.</span></span></p> </p> <p class="BasicParagraph" style="margin-bottom: 5.65pt; margin-left: 0in; margin-right: 0in; mso-margin-top-alt: 2.85pt;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 120%; font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">Westley would love to visit his dad however at the moment he is moving into his first tenancy within Quarriers Village which he is really excited about. Westley has a small amount of savings which he is hoping to use to furnish his flat and make it his home. However he would also love to see his Dad before it is too late. His dad is recovering from cardiac surgery. Westley&rsquo;s Dad has made it clear that he would love to see the son he has never met.</span></span></p> <p> <p class="BasicParagraph" style="margin-bottom: 5.65pt; margin-left: 0in; margin-right: 0in; mso-margin-top-alt: 2.85pt;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 120%; font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">Quarriers</span></span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 120%; font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"> Fountainview service are appealing for your donations to help Westley meet the father he has never known.</span></span></p> <p class="BasicParagraph" style="margin-bottom: 5.65pt; margin-left: 0in; margin-right: 0in; mso-margin-top-alt: 2.85pt;"><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: x-small;"><span style="line-height: 120%; font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">We would like to raise enough money to pay for a member of staff to support him, to travel to Texas U.S.A and stay in a local motel to cover the cost of accommodation and flights. </span></span></p> <p class="BasicParagraph" style="margin-bottom: 5.65pt; margin-left: 0in; margin-right: 0in; mso-margin-top-alt: 2.85pt;">Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> </p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
