The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

The on-set of midlife crisis in men is typified by a desire to regain a feeling of youthfulness, and is often exhibited in sad attempts to demonstrate physical vigour and prowess.

Such as by carrying out sporting activities which should have long since been refrained from, and the wearing of expensive, Lycra sports clothing, to try an appear young and active.

There is no co-incidence that we, a group of 40-something, overweight ,and in some cases, bald, men, will soon be attempting a non-stop 100Km walk from Richmond-Upon-Thames to Brighton within 24 hours. Dressed in the latest gear. None whatsoever.

We are aiming to raise £3,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support, an amount which could keep a Macmillan cancer information and support centre stocked with all the information resources it needs to support people affected by cancer for a year.

Please give generously to this excellent cause. And admire our incredible stamina and athleticism.

We are: Guy Spragg, Al Hendry, Bruce Thomson, Chris Skelton & Pete Nussey.
