Hello, everyone, and thank you for visiting my Justgiving donation page.

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Steve “Wheelchairsteve” Wilkinson and you can find out more about me and my life on my webpage, www.wheelchairsteve.com.

It has been a great pleasure to help raise funds for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation through my Humber Parasail Challenge, which I completed on Saturday 26th July.

Having lost both my parents to cancer during the last 10 years, I felt it was appropriate for me to support the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and help him raise money to establish The Sir Bobby Robson Cancer Trial Research Centre, which is being built at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle.  For more details of the Foundation, see  www.sirbobbyrobsonfoundation.org.uk

My thanks go out to Steve and Jill Webb of Humber Parascending for making the event possible and such a great success and also to Humber Rescue, whose boat accompanied us and enabled such great video footage to be taken.

I'd also like to thank Andy and Dave Evans for producing an excellent video and to my mate, Nick, for taking some excellent still photos and for helping me get attached to the parachute.
