Story

White House Print and Design Ltd Defibrillator Fundraising Campaign

Aaron and Rosie, from White House Print and Design Ltd in Lichfield, are partnering with AEDdonate to raise funds for multiple external defibrillators to place across Lichfield and the wider community. These life-saving device will be accessible to anyone in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA).

Aaron and Rosie’s Story and Motivation Behind their Fundraising Mission

In January 2026, while out in Lichfield, Aaron and Rosie—owners of White House Print and Design Ltd—witnessed a sudden cardiac arrest. With no defibrillator immediately available, Aaron stepped in and delivered over 20 minutes of CPR until the ambulance service arrived, ultimately giving the patient a fighting chance.

This experience had a profound impact on them both. Realising how vital quick access to a defibrillator can be, Aaron and Rosie are now committed to fundraising for the installation of multiple publicly accessible defibrillators across Lichfield. Their goal is simple: to help protect every part of our community and ensure that no one faces a sudden cardiac arrest without the lifesaving equipment they need close by.

Why Having Publicly-Accessible Defibrillators across Lichfield is So Important

Each year in the UK, over 30,000 people suffer a Sudden Cardiac Arrest outside of a hospital. Tragically, 620 of these are under the age of 35, and 270 are children, often while at school, in public places, or at events.

Having a defibrillator on-site, ready to use within the first 3 minutes of an SCA, can increase survival chances to over 80%. That’s why having defibrillators across Lichfield could be the difference between life and death.

How a Defibrillator Will Help the community

Once installed, the defibrillator will be registered with the local ambulance trust and available for 24/7 public use.

This doesn’t replace emergency services. Instead, it provides immediate, potentially life-saving intervention while the ambulance is enroute. The quicker the shock is delivered, the greater the chance of survival.
