The event involves a 100km (62.5 mile) trek over 3 days, mainly through rural Hampshire, starting and finishing at the White Horse pub in Bishop’s Waltham and visiting along the way the White Horse Inns at Westbourne, near Emsworth, and Priors Dean, near Petersfield.
Initially devised by John o’Groats to Land’s End walker Steve Hughes with the support of Steve Bull, landlord of his local White Horse in Bishop’s Waltham, the invitation to participate in all or just part of the trek is extended to all. Come and share in this challenging long-weekend filled with great fun and companionship. Each of the White Horse pubs has laid on an evening of musical entertainment and pledged food and a free pint to all charity walkers.
