Whizz Kidz provides young wheelchair users with the equipment and skills they need to live life as independently as possible, at home, at school, at work and beyond.

Story

Hi!  I´m Gareth Thomas and I walked for three months, from Worcester cathedral, through England, France and Spain to Santiago de Compostela, from May to August 2008.

Now I have achieved what I set out to do, please support my fundraising efforts for Whizz-Kidz (the working name of the Movement for Non-Mobile Children. Registered Charity No. 802872.)  The cause is a good one and the long long walk for those with mobility needs  reminded me - every day of this journey - how much I usually take the act of walking for granted.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure: Whizz-Kidz will receive your money quickly and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Many thanks for your support.

It is now my intention to keep the fundraising going for an extra month, as I have decided to cycle to Rome in September instead of flying there to begin my formation for the Catholic priesthood at the Pontifical Beda College. I shall post news about this on the blog.
