Glasgow is Scotland's largest city and has the highest rate of child poverty, with the problem affecting a third of all youngsters in the area. One in six children will go to bed hungry tonight with one in five going without the basic essentials such as food, heat, a bed or warm clothing.

Last year Cash for Kids saw a huge increase in applications for essential clothing for children living in poverty. Many families in our area have to choose between buying food, heating their home and buying essential clothing. Shocking isn’t it?

All the children we help will be identified via support workers, groups and organisations who work closely with families that are struggling financially.
