Cash for Kids is a grant-giving charity, supporting young lives from birth to 18. Our mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across Glasgow and the West of Scotland who are affected by poverty.

Story

Raise more than a glass this Christmas.

Glasgow is Scotland's largest city and has the highest rate of child poverty, with the problem affecting a third of all youngsters in the area. One in six children will go to bed hungry tonight with one in five going without the basic essentials such as food, heat, a bed or warm clothing.

This festive period, Best Bar None and Whose Round are collaborating to raise vital funds to help Clyde Cash for Kids continue to support children disadvantaged by poverty, neglect, disability and ill health. With your help, we can continue building a better future for these children, simply click the donate button or text GLAS81 £3 to 70070.

Last year Cash for Kids saw a huge increase in applications for essential clothing for children living in poverty. Many families in our area have to choose between buying food, heating their home and buying essential clothing. Shocking isn’t it?

This year we need your help to make a difference. Simply text GLAS81 £3, GLAS81 £5 or GLAS81 £10 to 70070. No matter how much you are able to give, Cash For Kids will use your donation to benefit a local child. All the children we help will be identified via support workers, groups and organisations who work closely with families that are struggling financially.
