Story
Please sponsor Kelly and Tess Gartshore and Sam West to climb the Grand Shaft, Dover to the equivalent height of Mount Everest between them.
The Grand Shaft is a Napoleonic Triple Spiral Staircase 140ft high and Mount Everest is 29,035ft so they will be walking up (and down) the stairs of the Grand Shaft 70 times each !!
On Saturday 7th April at 9am the girls will embark on the epic feat so please come along and support them.
Funds raised will go towards the work of the Western Heights Preservation Society who look after the Drop Redoubt and are currently raising funds to create a secure dry toolstore for their equipment
