Action Against Hunger is a global humanitarian organisation that takes decisive action against the causes and effects of hunger. We save the lives of malnourished children. We ensure everyone can access clean water, food, training and healthcare. We enable entire communities to be free from hunger.

Story

On October 3rd, ten boys and girls from Wieden + Kennedy (Paul, Sophie, Fern, Graeme, Nic, David, Alex, Stephanie, Ryan and Emma) will run Loch Ness.  Half of us are running the marathon and the other half 10k in stupid costumes.

We are doing it to raise some much needed money for the flood victims in Pakistan (as well as working off our guts at the same time).

More than 1,500 people have been killed and hundreds of thousands stranded by flooding triggered by the annual monsoon rains. The floodwaters have washed away millions of hectares of crops, submerged villages and destroyed roads and bridges. Disease is spreading among Pakistani flood victims, and there have been warnings that dams in the south may burst, escalating problems.

Action Against hunger have been present in Pakistan for several years and their team is on the ground responding to the disaster, launching an emergency appeal in support of their relief efforts.

Please please give what you can.  It might even make us run it a little faster.
