Hi guys and thank you for visiting my just giving web page, hopefully after reading my page you will feel your need to sponsor me on my charity event. So what is my charity event I hear you say, well before that why have I chosen Macmillan Cancer Support for my chosen charity.

Macmillan Cancer Support helps people and families with Macmillan nurses to help and support the families and people with cancer. Having seen the work done by Macmillan nurses first hand I think everything we can do to help them help us is a must. My family and I watched my father die of cancer and without this help from Macmillan nurses it could have been even more difficult than what it was. So those of you who read this and have had the unfortunate experience of seeing this first hand, those of you that have not may need to so please DIG DEEP.

My charity event, aptly named 'WIGGLETHON' is due to the kind help from the internet website www.wiggle.co.uk, especially the help from Rob Pybus. Wiggle who sell a vast range of Hiking, biking and running gear at excellent prices have kindly donated me one of their own FOCUS range of mountain bikes. The bike they have given me is the FOCUS Killer Bee, which I have aptly renamed the 'Belly Killer' for my charity event. Before I go further and explain what I will be doing, you will be able to follow my progress through my own BLOG on the www.wiggle.co.uk bloggle page. This will include updates of my progression and also where and what I have been doing on my bike. Along with high quality scenic and wildlife photos I have taken on my travels.

The idea is by hard graft cycling and the help of 'Weight Watchers', I am looking to loose 2 stone in weight by the 24th of September 2008. On Wednesday the 19th of September 2008 I did my first official weigh in at Weight Watchers, I came in at 20 stone and 5 pounds. Well over what I even expected I was, even at being 6' 3" and quite well built it certainly shocked me!

So, please sponsor me. You can do this as one lump sum or as some people have suggested they want to do is pay per pound lost. I suggest to do this you make a simple small donation initially and add a mesage saying I will pay such and such per pound lost. You can then pay either weekly, monthly or even on completion on the 24th of September 2008. At least with the small donation and a message I know how much roughly I am raising and will help me push myself more. There will be a say a weekly/fortnightly update on my own blog on the 'WIGGLE' website of exactly how I am doing and how much weight lost.

I highly reccomend you read my own BLOG of which a direct link link will be added as soon as it is complete.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Macmillan Cancer Support will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

Mike
