W.I.G. Party · 10 October 2012

AIDS is the most devastating modern-day disease. By the end of the 20th century, 50 years worth of public health gains were annihilated by AIDS, which continues to destroy lives. Our vision today is to create an AIDS free future through science, support, and most of all, compassion. You can help.

Story

Welcome to the Wig Party 2012!

The Wig Party is a glamorous highlight on London’s busy social calendar, an event committed to raising funds to help improve the lives of individuals living with HIV and AIDS. It is a celebration of individuality and self-expression where peoplewear a wig and recognise those individuals that inspire us. Quite simply, those that attend do so “with hair, with heart”.

IF YOU CAN'T COME (OR EVEN IF YOU CAN!) - HELP US MAKE THE FUTURE AIDS FREE BY MAKING A SMALL DONATION...

Working with our charity partner, the Elton John AIDS Foundation, our event raises funds for a project seeking to improve the outlook of young people with HIV and help them to realise a brighter future. This year’s event theme is the Wig Party goes to Toyland. We invite our fellow guests to embrace plastic-fantastic, their childhood dreams and go to “infinity and beyond” to help raise funds for our dedicated cause.

Date: Sunday 21st October, 2012.

Venue: Cafe de Paris. The club is located on 3 – 4 Coventry Street, London. W1D 6BL (see the map below for directions)

Dress code: The only essential item to wear is a wig, it is as simple as that. We encourage flamboyant displays of energy but equally welcome the simplicity of wearing an outfit that reflects how you feel on the evening.
