Footsteps for Africa is a UK based charity that strives to enable children in Kenya to reach their potential as individuals and in the community by helping them to become healthy, educated, self-sustaining and contributing members of their communities

Story

Dear all

For our Duke of Edinburgh bronze award fund raising section my sister Rosie,  I, Will and our dad(who isn't doing it for DofE) are going to do a 7.5 mile run from the clock tower in Newmarket to our house in Higham.

We are going to raise the money for our uncles charity called Footsteps. Footsteps is a charity that helps people in Katito, a village in Kenya and gives them; sports facilities, builds new and improves schools and other buildings such as a Medical centre that they recently completed, also they give them things like water pumps.

However Footsteps is only a small charity so any money that can be raised would be highly appreciated. They also have a page on the just giving website which will tell you more about the charity.

We are going to do the run on Saturday the 17th April in our Easter holidays so if you could give the money as soon as possible.

Thank you
