UPDATE on 22 March 2010: A great big thanks to all of you for sponsoring us!

In addition to those very kind souls who donated below, we managed to raise over £400 offline, enabling us to reach our target. We are truly grateful for all your generous and heartfelt donations - a massive thank you!

The money raised will go straight to Macmillan and help them to support patients, carers and families living with cancer.

The race was enjoyable but hard, and both Will and Stuart had sore legs for a few days afterwards (Nat seemed to find it all a breeze, and thankfully managed to stay injury free enabling him to continue his training for the Edinburgh Marathon - Good Luck Nat!)

Finishing times:

Nat: 1 hour 58 minutes

Will: 2 hours 13 minutes

Stuart: 2 hours 32 minutes

So one week later and we all seem to have recovered. There is talk of a marathon / half-marathon in September in Nottingham, and we have definitely been bitten by the running bug!

With thanks again,

Will, Stuart (and Nat)

Thanks for taking the time to visit our fund raising page.

Along with over 5500 others, we are running in the world's first ever 'Kilomathon' race (26.2 km / 16.3 miles) from Nottingham to Derby on Sunday 14 March 2010.

We are raising money for Macmillan, a cancer charity, and are very grateful for any donations you make.

      - There are an estimated 2 million people in the UK who are living with cancer

      - 1 in 3 of us will get cancer at some stage in our lives

      - 99% of Macmillan's services are funded entirely through donations

      - Macmillan provides practical, emotional and financial support to patients and their families

      - Macmillan funds nurses, consultants, dieticians, radiographers and therapists

         • £24 could pay for a Macmillan physiotherapist for an hour

         • £68 could run a Macmillan information and support centre for an hour

         • £918 could fund a Macmillan nurse for a working week

Your donation will help make a huge difference to those who are living with cancer.

With thanks,

Stuart and Will
