… the other bloke, which left me with a bruised: left eye, bridge of nose, upper and lower lip, right cheek bone, left and right ears and a big one on the back of my head. Apart from that I feel pretty good, and am really glad I did it. I also take some comfort from the fact that the other bloke won best boxer on the night.

I think I will now retire from amateur boxing with my 100% loss record still intact …
