Help a London Child (HALC) was founded in 1975 by Lord Attenborough CBE, as Capital 95.8's charity to assist and give opportunities to thousands of London’s children and young people experiencing abuse, homelessness, disability, poverty and illness. Over the last 30 years the charity has raised in excess of £20 million and awarded that amount to over 10,000 small groups across the Capital, directly helping over 1 million children.

My personal message:

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. 

I have been bullied into running the 10k by work folks.  I am raising money for Help a London Child which is a fantastic cause.  I also have to wear a skin tight pink t-shirt which has come through the post so I am also inadvertently running in support of gay pride and man boobs.  If you can spare just a few pounds to help change someone's life and support my humiliation on Sunday that would be fantastic.
