Story

We have now completed our epic ride and returned safely from the Black Forest. Over the 3 days, the four of us cycled the 500 mile course in relay through some spectacular countryside, albeit very wet, in Belgium and France ending up in the Black Forest in Germany. Having enjoyed some great cycling we now need to complete our fundraising for a very worthwhile charity, Willen Hospice as well as the Extra Mile chosen charities.

Willen Hospice offers an invaluable service in the local community providing specialist physical, emotional, spiritual and practical support to people with life limiting conditions and their families. Only 25% of Willen's costs are met by the NHS. For the rest they rely on financial support from donors, business supporters and the voluntary efforts of the community. So your generosity is really needed to help them continue with their work.

As we all live locally we recognise the great work that Willen Hospice does and so are keen to raise as much money as possible to support them. Please dig deep and donate now to support our fundraising efforts. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - We raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
