Sponsor William the dog…and help raise money for first Children’s Hospice in South London

Company mascot William the black Labrador is attempting to walk over 50kms through the Pennines along with the entire team from Chase Zander, niche Financial Services Search and Selection Consultancy based in Greenwich .  The two day hike is to raise much needed money and awareness to support the charity Demelza and their most recent campaign the Capital Appeal: to raise funds for a new Children’s Hospice in South East London.

The 50km walk through the Pennines at the end of June, coincides with Chase Zander’s five year anniversary in business…and with that Chase Zander are attempting their most gruelling challenge to date.  William the dog is planning on leading the team, which is headed up by his owner and Director of Chase Zander Adam Tallamy .  “We are relying on William to keep us all high spirited and motivated through the aching legs and countless blisters, we’re just sorry he can’t help when it comes to pitching our tents on the first night!” says Adam.  “The children who receive care from Demelza love William so it makes sense to use him to raise awareness of Demelza and boost sponsorship for them.  It’s such a worthy cause so please help William brighten up these children’s’ lives”.

Chase Zander is aiming to raise at least £5,000 for the Capital Appeal which will provide much needed hospice care for an estimated 780 children and their families affected by life-limiting or life-threatening conditions in South London .  There is currently no local children’s hospice to serve these children and their families.  £6.5 million in total is needed to build and run the new hospice, and Demelza depends almost entirely on the generosity and participation of all the community living and working in this part of the capital.  “Commercial sponsorship such as this from Chase Zander means so much to the success of the appeal”

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Demelza, Hospice Care for Children will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
