Really honing the speed now- starting to run consistent 7minute miles over 10 mile stretches. Plenty to play with on the big day. Longish jog (11miles) planned this weekend then time to load the pasta.

Took a cheeky 18mile run this weekend in a nice 2hour 20 so well on track for 3.5 hours on the big day. Sponsorship looking good but only a month to quadruple this. Thanks do much for all your help so far!!!

Off to the physio tomorrow but should be back on track for the weekend's 15 miles. Fingers crossed!

Greetings,

Pretty tough target here - trying to do the full thing in a cheeky 3 and a half hours. Got my first half marathon training-run kicking off this week. The training so far has reminded me of Mel Gibson's wonderful assessment of one's relationship with the road in the iconic movie, What Women Want. Love the road.

To support me text HOOP89 £10 to 70070

I'm running for Shakespeare Schools Festival - a lovely arts-education charity that gives children and young people from all different backgrounds the opportunity to perform abridged Shakespeare plays in their local professional theatre. Totally inclusive and non-competitive, it gives young people confidence, joy and something to be super proud about. Have a butchers on www.ssf.uk.com

Deffo considering running this as Shakespeare himself but if anyone's got any ideas then let me know.

I'll be updating continuously with an onslaught of photos and inevitably dull running chat. As a preview - I hurt my foot at the weekend. Sadly, I shan't be updating whilst running - although I appreciate the infintite potential of resulting banter that could be thus achieved, but I'll be sure to let you know my opinion on the various hedges, lamp posts and detailed pavement structures that I encounter in my training.

Now, for Just Giving to do its bit: 'Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.'

Love to all,

Will xxx

So please dig deep and donate now.
