"Julycycle" for Mthunzi · 27 June 2008

ZamScotEd SCIO (formerly the Mthunzi & Lilanda Initiative) is an Argyll-based charity that supports the education of vulnerable young people in Zambia. We are building a secondary school - St Columba's - in Lusaka West and every penny we raise goes to give kids a chance to have a future.

Story

In August 2008, 15 members of the Mthunzi culture group will travel to Scotland with 2 members of Mthunzi's staff. They will spend 25 days sharing music, learning about fishing and crofting traditions, and making friends with young musicians from Argyll and the Isle of Barra. Help us make this a visit to remember.

I am going to see how many miles I can clock up on my bike during July to sponsor them. Please sponsor me, either per mile or as a fixed amount. You can also guess the total I will manage, and there will be a prize for the best guess!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Mthunzi and Lilanda Initiative gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
