Thank you for taking the time to visit my just giving page.

Why you may ask I am running the London Marathon in April ?  It’s a long, long way, will take a lot of training and I have not done any regular running for more than 20 years, there must be a good reason. Certainly there is the desire to improve my health and lose some weight, understandable as age marches on, but the main and overwhelming reason is to raise funds for the British HIV Association research awards. The purpose of the awards is to support research into improving the clinical and social care of people living with HIV infection. I am the current chair of BHIVA, and increasing the total value of the funds awarded annually, is one of my aims.

As a first time marathon runner, please sponsor me and Team BHIVA in running the London Marathon and help support HIV research. Please include gift aid in your donation as this increases the value of your donation significantly

Thank you very much for your support.

Best wishes

Ian
