Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. The coal carrying race consists of running 1 km through the hilly main street of  ex coalmining village ,Kelty ,carying an 8 stone bag of coal as part of Kelty Gala.   Yes its absurd and yes its painful - but so are many things in life and they dont raise money for a very worthwhile charity .
