Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. The coal carrying race consists of running 1 km through the hilly main street of  ex coalmining village ,Kelty ,carying an 8 stone bag of coal as part of Kelty Gala.   Yes its absurd and yes its painful - but so are many things in life and they dont raise money for a very worthwhile charity . So please make a donation and make it worth it . Thanks to everyone that has. If you missed it you still can?

*update* race over - did the 1000m in 6 min 44 which is ok i think as my target was under 7 mins. watch the race here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B97_JSPLBx8 . Its great especially the jazzed up armoured car thing at the begining.

Congratulations to  Willie Rennie who  beat me by a few seconds  but most of all thanks to everyone that made a donation to 'Homestart' they can do lots with the cash and guess what if you didnt get the chance  you can still donate here for a wee while.
