You will by now be aware that I volunteered to undertake a Tandem Skydive in support of the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund's 90th Anniversary at Netheravon. This was originally scheduled for 11 July but was then postponed due to bad weather.  I finally did the jump on 31 July. 

The anticipation was far worse than the actual jump.  The freefall bit from 13,000 feet down to 5,000 feet (approx) when the chute opened was awesome reaching speeds of around 120mph. Then a glide down to the Drop Zone. The experience was highly worthwhile particularly since it will benefit a highly respected charity with ever increasing demands being made upon it .
